Stuff

So, I fail, epically. Welcome to my world of procrastination, and its consequences.

These are some images from Thursday- I'll be posting more recent ones tomorrow, hopefully.

Still more hand obsession.

Photo-a-day #4

So, I failed on the photo-a-day thing. Just going to pick up where I left off...

Photo-a-day #2

My little treble clef signature. Don't steal it.

Photo-a-day #1

Two weeks. I think I can manage that.

Took this two days ago... couldn't really get out today, due to, you know, school.

Clarity

A weekend away from it all. And a moment of clarity.

Cold as...

Froze all my extremities off today... This is some of what I sacrificed those valuable appendages for; the rest are on film... I'll have to get someone else to develop for me now though. -b.m.

People, Seasons, Life, Movement

These are some of the unedited (with the exception of the B&W shot) images taken as of late. Shot at Valley Forge National Park, except for the little boy, who was photographed at Love Park; 15th and JFK, Philly.

The line between life and death is blurred at the hand of fall, and the button is pressed which captures a moment in this time that is gone as quickly as it there. Many millions of moments within every moment... I did my best to save a few of them.

Shutter Speed

In order to demonstrate my understanding of shutter speed, I'm posting two photos.

To get the blurred effect on the waterfall, I lowered my shutter speed to 1/6th of a second, and adjusted my aperture accordingly.

To be able to shoot the stone wall from the car, moving approximately 60mph, I obviously had a relatively fast shutter speed; between 1/250th and 1/500th of a second.
